After receiving a degree in Exercise Science from the University of Florida, Dr. Desiree Garzon, DPM, worked as a research assistant, coordinating clinical trials and constructing protocols for ongoing medical research. The Florida native then went on to earn a Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine from the Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine in Miami.
Dr. Garzon completed a three-year residency in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery at Bethesda Hospital in Boynton Beach, where she was named chief resident.
